This entry is used to define and configure a Private Key credential entry.

Option

Description

Private key type

Select the private key type to use. Select between:

No private key: No private key will be sent.

File: Allows you to select a key file to submit as credentials.

Data: Allows you to specify the textual data of the key. This results in the key being stored within the entry itself and eases distribution.

Passphrase

Enter the passphrase to connect.

Username

Always ask for passphrase when connecting.

Password

If using the option File or Data in your Private key type, you have the option to override the username.

File

Select the proper file key.

Private key

Indicate the specific textual data of the key.

Description

Automatically load to key agent

Automatically load your Private Key in your Key Agent Manager.
